Virginia specializes in financial law and insolvency and is the founder of Torrie Law in Toronto. She is the Editor-in-Chief of the Banking and Finance Law Review and an Executive Member of the Insolvency Section of the Canadian Bar Association. Virginia is a former law professor (University of Manitoba) and past Chair of the Insolvency Section of the Manitoba Bar Association.
She writes frequently on banking, insolvency and fintech, including how these legal fields have been influenced by Canadian federalism.
